His Grace

Earlier this year at my daughter’s preschool graduation, all the students had roles and Amelia’s was to be one of the song leaders. I watched as she sang confidently and loudly, and my heart was bursting with pride know that she’s using the gifts God gave her even though she can’t even comprehend that yet. I think about God’s heart swelling even bigger than mine did because HE is the one who has gifted each of us so uniquely.

There’s something about Labor Day weekend that has always felt like the switch in seasons for me. Kind of like how once we have Easter, I’m all about flip flops and summer clothing even though it might still be snowing outside. Once Labor Day hits, we move into fall – that means football games, pumpkin patches, apple cider, and my favorite part - the beauty that happens outside when the season changes to fall.

You Are Enough

Earlier this year, I had the honor of hanging out and sharing with a group of women who have been reading and studying together for the last six weeks. They’ve been reading and discussion what it means to have a faith that is fierce – a faith that cannot be silenced by fear, worry, or anxiety.

What we found is that many of us, whether we admit it or not, struggle with worrying too much. And if you’re anything like me, you’re now worrying about whether or not you are someone who worries too much and you’re worrying about if the people who know you think you’re a worrier or not. That’s just exhausting!
